MusiCare Series – Winter 2007 Schedule

MusiCare Series was founded by Donna Lou Shickel in 1985, bringing concerts to residential care facilities for the aged, developmentally disabled and long-term mentally ill.  Donna Lou's music ministry began at the onset of her recording career and the release of her "Shenandoah Valley Christmas" album, and its mission involves going in where people cannot go out.

Sunday, December 9 – Martinsburg VA Hospital, Martinsburg, WV

Join us Sunday, December 9 as we partner with Travel Mates of Harrisonburg, VA and the Dayton American Legion to bring a concert by Donna Lou to Martinsburg Veterans Administration Hospital, Martinsburg WV!    Help honor our service men and women by reserving your free seats on the motor coach now by calling the Dayton American Legion at (540) 879-3355 (be sure to leave your name and phone number).  We will depart from the Roses parking lot in Harrisonburg, VA at 10:30 a.m., concert is at 1:00 p.m. with reception and refreshments at 2:00 p.m.  We'll head back home at 3:00 p.m.  Transportation is free, compliments of Travel Mates, but we invite passengers to contribute refreshments for the reception (such as cheese/crackers, fruit, chips, cookies and desserts, both regular and diabetic).
